Recipe Rice soumbala (soumara) proposed by Haboza
Oil ½ glass
4 small balls sombala
1 smoked fish (catfish or Walan djiguè)
2 large onions
2 liters water
Put a pan on the stove. Add oil, onions and peppers finely cut. Cook for 2 minutes then add the garlic, pepper and parsley, salt, crushed and sorted soumbala, dried fish washed in hot water.
Stir and fry 3 minutes, then add water, check the seasoning and boil.
Finally add the previously winnowed rice washed and steamed.
Cook at low heat. When the cooking water is almost over, reduce heat and cover the rice with aluminum foil or plastic food.
