libanese shrimps

Grilled 7 spice shrimp recipe.

Non decorticated big shrimp

1/4 cup of olive oil

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 garlic bulb

1/2 coffee cup of lebanese 7 spice mix

(1/4 coffee cup of powdered coriander, 1/4 coffee cup powdered cumin, 1/4 coffee cup powdered strong paprika)

Lemons divided into quarters

1 red pepper

1 green pepper

A few curly parsley branches

A few romane lettuce leaves


Preparation of the shrimp:

Take out the bones of the shrimp and take out the black vein. Wash with cold water

Preparation of the sauce:

With an electric mixer, mix the lemon juice, the olive oil and the garlic bulb until the mix is perfectly creamy and has a salty taste

General preparation:

Pour half of the sauce in a bowl and add the coriander, the cumin and the 7 spice mix. Mix well and add the shrimp. Let them marinate for at least 2 hours.

On a very hot gril, grill the shrimo 3 minutes maximum on each side. Put the shrimp on a bed of lettuce and decorate the plate with the lemon quarters, the cut peppers and the parsley.

Pour the rest of the sauce on the shrimp and serve everything either as an appetizer or as a dish served with rice and salad or little vegetables
