Samoa rice



2 tablespoons butter

3/4 cups chopped celery

1 1/2 cups precooked rice (instant)

1 1/2 cups hot water

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 envelope onion soup mix

1 teaspoon curry powder

1/4 teaspoon ginger




Melt butter and saute celery until tender. Stir in rice, water, soup mix, lemon juice, curry and ginger. Bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes until rice is tender. (Can be reheated: add a bit more water)
